Post-Production Studios
Winter 2013
This post-production studio space uses a structural system that is both expressive and non-repetitive. A system was devised that uses overlapping pavilions and concrete cores with beams supporting a steel frame. Within the steel frame lies a secondary structural system based on cellular geometry. The overlapping areas of the pavilion functions as vertical circulation. The solid pattern in the concrete contrasts the light pattern of the voids in the steel perimeter.
